This series being currently created is my first body of work in my new/forever career as a painter.

Created July/2021_Piece Together is the beginning piece of my new body of work as a FULL TIME PAINTER, yikes! I know when a painting is a more than a process piece when it has its own presence and meaning beyond my hand. (I call this, “When the painting SHOWS UP and holds its own”). Paintings like this stand out in the way they are so clearly completed in partenership with the the medium and inspired personal plots momentum of application.

Piece Together was created on a day I was in a bit of a panic and fighting the internal anxiety of a big financial decision I had made in excitement towards building my art business. The starting application of paper and images were collaged onto board during a stall period of transition between me and an excitement inspired committed plan of trajectory in how to share my artwork as its conceptual and lucrative value.. I began to apply the paint during my surrender to anxiety when I chose to let the peace in my mind speak. Somewhere in scary of the mental attack because I CARE so damn much about my art, activated brains ability to tap into the OG concept and process of CHA. “Mountaintop Moments” is where my practice of painting was created from, these encompass elements of nature that are BEYOND my knowledge, yet, WITHIN a FELT presence and control of my matters response to the spirit. Confidence creeped in and brought the active lesson of remembering of what my goals were and the purpose of my baby art business. I completed this painting with ease and fearlessness in the materials I know, love, and believe in. Spirit and Matter are not on a schedule, they are the co-creators of CHartBeat. If I trust my own guidance and respect the concept that has gotten me this far, I do not need to rush. I plan on piecing together my art business as if it were a painting and build the foundation as a composition of vertical and horizontal lines.

Sea Leaf , August 2021_ painted in 3 hours the morning after returning from a beautifully curated festival on the sea.

Primary Trio , September 2021 _ using a color theory of primary colors representing different elements of life and vocations/ basic summaries of the ways in which life/systems work individually and together.
